Upgrade Client from 4.x to 5.0
We just finished with the Avamar 5.0 upgrade from 4.1 and now would like to update the clients.
All clients are running Windows 2003 R2 server and have the 4.1 client installed. Do I just run the 5.0 client install or do I need to uninstall the 4.1 client then install the 5.0?
I would like to keep the logs files along with any historical data from the backups that have occured.

Hi,
You just run the 5.x client install, this will update the 4.1 software - no need to uninstall.
This will keep the configuration and the logs.
