Windows 8 Error

Hi There

How can I disable - make this event line to disappear

avtar Error <16141>: This version of Avtar does not support this specific version of Windows OS. Avtar will continue, but the operation may not complete successfully.

Solved

Hi It can be done by creating a file named

avtar.cmd ( text file ) placed at c:\program files\avs\var

add the next line to the cmd file : --downgrade-error-code=16141

What is the Windows OS version and Avamar plugin version being used ?

Hi,

Windows 8 is not supported with Avamar client v6.1.100-402 and so an error is being generated.
