CMC and HSRP?

Hello..
Quick question...
PowerEdge M1000e: my client is installing this blade center and we are configuring CMC. However as a default gateway we got 2 switches in HSRP. Is this supported? my tests indicate it is not but I would like to see if there is any documentation stating so... thank you!

Hello Kong, many thanks for verifying this. I still got the CMC pointing to one of the physical interfaces (no longer the standby IP) and I found out we got another issue with intervlan routing. I hope to get this resolved then try both with the physical interface that is directly connected to the CMC, and with the standby IP... we are also using NAT for remote connections.

Oops, sorry for the SPAM, I didnt see my reply added immediately and thought something was wrong on my end.

i have verified CMC works with the physical IP of the switches, I am yet to try the Standby IP.

sandramunoz999,

Sorry I haven't heard back from anyone. Have you taken a look at this write-up?

Hello KongY no worries! as it is while troubleshooting, a coworker configured the Standby IP, and it works as well. I will keep your link as I will be supporting the blades in the future. Thanks! I will be seeing you around...
