Hi,
We have setup CAVA with McAfee on a windows 2008 server for VNXe array. When we try to start the antivirus checker it fails with the following error.

Be sure you have closely followed the steps in the guide, Using VNX Event Enabler, which describes the installation and configuration of CAVA. Some easy things to troubleshoot:
- ensure the CAVA AD Domain account on the server is used to run the CAVA service
- ensure the right firewall ports are open for McAfee and for the CAVA service
You can always open an SR with EMC for assistance.
Let us know if that helps!

Looks like an old setup considering the OS version. if it was broken recently then try restarting CAVA related services on the cava server. Also check if the IP connectivity is not broken between VNXE and the CAVA server.
