try to apply the EICAR Test Virus Pattern

I tried the eicar AV test file and the AV engine picks it up when I am on the windows server, but if I put it out on the share, it does not pick it up. It says status OK. What should i have to do in order to start CAVA with CIFS share also.

you need to configure the AV server accordingly. Please follow the manual.
