Celerra Manager 5.4 - System Status- Red X

System Status shows a Red X
Hardware status shows
Clariion CX500 Warning
Shelf 0/0 SP A Is Ready to Restore

This has happened in the past and EMC tech support had dialed in and fixed it.

I would like to know what causes it, and how I can fix it myself.

Thanks. Robin Cole -Colo DOT

one or more luns on clariion thats presented to celera has trasspased. go into navisphere and see which one has trespaased from its default owner and traspass it back.

or better yet run this command:

nas_storage -info id=APM00051906566

where APM is the id for your Clariion. You will see this output, look for entry

failed_over           = False

if it's true that means that you have luns that have trespassed. Run this command to fail them back their default owners.

nas_storage -failback id=APM00051906566

at that point i would refresh you Celerra Manager GUI ..and it should look ok. You might have to manually "Accept" the alert to clear it.
