celerra standalone server mode

I'm testing out using the standalone server option in celerra.

I can create the standalone server just fine using

server_cifs server_2 -add standalone=kyindstd02,workgroup=workgroup,interface=10-163-220-29-test,local_users

It prompts for a password and I supply one but then trying to access it, I get told that I need to change the password;

I have a windows 7 workstation in workgroup mode and try to change the password by doing a ctrl-alt-del and change password option but it's not working.

I'm stymied and don't know what else to try. thanks for any help.

The user's password must be changed before logging on the first time.
