Concerns while extending share size when quota is active.

Question

What are the precautions to be taken before extending a CIFS share size, when any of the quota type is active on the share. Will this be requiring any remounting of share after extension to get the extended size . Thanks for responses in advance. Regards,      Vipin V.K

There is no share extension. Do you mean a filesystem extension? Or do you mean a increase of the quota? Anyway, both actions are online without any remounting.

no issues, online procedure. If file system is part of replication, target file system will be extended as well.
