There is no share extension.
Do you mean a filesystem extension?
Or do you mean a increase of the quota?
Anyway, both actions are online without any remounting.

Hi Peter,
I meant increasing the share size i.e, filesystem extension.

no issues, online procedure. If file system is part of replication, target file system will be extended as well.
