Data Movers ports

Question

Our network team just notified me that certain servers are trying to get to DM2 and DM3 on UDP ports 60250 and 61670. We are unsure what these ports are. Can someone help us in determinig if these ports are used for connectivity to the data movers? I can't find anything on these ports.

ask your network team what IP address is trying to connect and then run tcpdump and filter by that IP address..see what it's trying to do. This could something doing a port scan, could be legitimate security scanner or could be malware.
