Download pkg_6.0.40.5_emcnas.tar error

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade to version 6.0.40.5 with the USM tool. When downloading packages i receive following error :

Failed to download the file pkg_6.0.40.5_emcnas.tar :Input Stream is null. Could not start download

Any help would by appreciated ...

try to open a browser and login to Powerlink on the same machine that you are running USM prior to the download

Thanks for your answer. I've already try that and doesn't work. Hereby an hardcopy of error ...

if y try directly from browser i receive an Access Violation ...

Do you have a maintenance contract?

we've buy our NX4 storage thru Dell. Don't know if we've a maintenance contract with EMC. But my login have "full entitlement" option thus i suppose that i've have right for maintenance and upgrading ....

This is most likely because you didn't register your Celerra serial number in Powerlink. Go to:

Support->Product and Diagnostic Tools->Celerra Tools->Register Your Celerra

Then try to download using CUT again.

I had this issue and registering my Celerra resolved it.
