NX4 integration with Active Directory/ Quotas per user security
Hello, i am knew to Celerra and i just configured the iSCSI and everything is fine.
But the customer is asking for NX4 to be integrated with AD and the quotas security per user to be done from AD since its easier.
Can this be done ? appreciate your help.

Hi Sameer,
I have the document and it explains the QUOTAs but regarding the Active directory i didnt find anything inside it ,
BTW your link didnt open but i already downloaded the document from powerlink.

Hi,
you can configure quotas for active directory users using windows server interface as well,
1. Map the cifs share to the windows server with the user which has the full rights on the Cifs share.
2. Go to the properties of the mapped drive
3. Select "Quota" tab
4. Enable the quotas from this tab and add the users using "quota entries" button from the same tab.

What do you mean?
Qutoa‘s are a file system capability and have nothing to do with Active Directory
