VDM Failover - Network Interface query

Question

As a test for DR, We  are planning to do a VDM failover.I have a interface net1 created and allocated to CIFS server on the source site, I am failing over to the Remote Site. I have a net1 interface created and IP assigned on the remote site. When I do a failover, Will the net1 interface on the remote site gets updated to the source site net1 interface IP or will it continue to use the Remote site IP?.  Another query is, Will the CIFS Server will be registered on the domain after failover or do we have to Join the CIFS server to the domain?

In addition to what dynamox stated, adn you might already know this, but make sure you failover the VDM first followed by the file system(s).

It will update its remote site IP address in DNS (if you are allowing dynamic DNS). You do not need to join anything.
