Hardware failures (Problem with Upgrade CentraStar)
Hello all!
I have a problem with CentraStar upgrade! "Hardware failures check (4.0-68) ERROR
There are hardware failures in the cluster: Failure
reported on node c001n08: rootswitch0, rootswitch1.
Failure Info: Resolve these issues before attempting an
upgrade. "All nodes and rootswitches working normally. What could be the problem?

Upgrades should be done by EMC customer engineers. I'm not sure if you are an EMC employee or not, but regardless, I can answer your question. A failure message for both root switches on one node generally indicates a problem with the motherboard on that node. This is an issue that should be given to Centera Technical Support to analyze and resolve.
