Adding a new Clariion to ESX Server

Question

Can I add a new Clariion array to ESX Server without rebooting? I need to migrate from one Clariion to another and I'm trying to come up with a plan of action. Thanks!

I think it depends on your ESX server version. On recent versions yes you will be able to see the new Clariion without rebooting.
Simply rescan HBAs with "esxcfg-rescan vmhba#" (where # is the HBA number).

Of course you will need to update your zoning and lun masking (storage group).

I think the question was about masking a new array/luns to an ESX server not moving VMs between ESX servers.

You can use a storage vmotion: moving storage around without moving the VM.
