ADMSNAP download?

Where does one get ADMSNAP in order to install it on ones windows 2003 host servers? I currently have NAVISHPERE Agent and NAVICLI. but seem to require ADMSNAP to get the proper flushing to work with NAVICLI.

I'm new to EMC and any help would be greatly appricaited. We recently purchased a used EMC Clariion CX-40 with 2 shelfs of ATA and have set it up via NAVI Management.

It's pretty straight forward except for the part about not having ADMSNAP installed on our host windows servers to do a proper clone mounting/unmounting for backup to tape via a second host server.

Again, any help would be greatly appriciated.

Hmmm. You probably won't have a site ID unless you purchased the array or support from EMC (which it sounds like you haven't). I'm not sure how PowerLink Support works for second hand arrays, but I suspect that you won't get what you need without paying for an EMC Support contract.

You can find ADMSNAP by following the path:

Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads S > SnapView

If this doesn't show up for you, contact your account team to make sure you are set up properly with the right products registered for your site.

Thank you for the quick reply, however, we have not been properly setup for access. When you say account rep, are you reffering to an EMC account rep? or the 3rd party vendor that sold us the used EMC unit?

The 3rd party vendor hasn't been helpful at all with regards to even setting this thing up, they're tech had no iSCSI experiance to speak of either, had to figure it out on my own, which was fine, but not getting any real knowledgable support from this vendor.

I've placed a call to EMC sales, waiting on a return call from them. Not sure whom to contact beyond that in order to gain access to those file downloads I need.

I've attempted to register the hardware myself, but it asks for a SITE ID, which I don't believe I have.
