I do not have access to enter in Engineering mode, for knowledge sake I am asking you this question.
can you please draft the engineering mode activities.

Engineering mode is typically used by EMC for certain functions that are not normally available. These functions are for EMC support to use when troubleshooting or fixing issues. There is no documentation that is available outside of EMC for these functions.

The engineering mode password isn't really a very well-kept secret either.
It lets you do a few things you normally can't. Most of which are things that aren't really super important to day to day use and can really mess stuff up: Change WWN, Part numbers, Serial Number, etc
The one thing that should be enabled for everyone is: You can forcibly deregister host connections while they're registered.
The good stuff where you can really have fun and break stuff is through the console ports on the back of the CLARiiON.
I heard you can convert your CX600 to a CX4-960 in engineering mode.

Yes, you also need this mode for making changes to monitoring templates and uninstalling software enablers.
