fc_err_recov parameter on AIX 5.3 server with Powerpath 5.1.1
Hi all,
I am currently upgrading AIX servers from Powerpath 4.5.3 to 5.1.1.
In "EMC PowerPath for AIX Version 5.1 Installation and Administration Guide P/N 300-005-461 REV A02" I see on page 17 :
With AIX version 5.2 ML-02 (APAR IY48488) or later :
chdev -l fscsiX -a fc_err_recov=fast_fail -P
Does it mean it must be done on AIX version 5.3 too ?

Primus emc115725 details how to address this. Although the primus solution only mentions AIX 5.2 (ML 2 or higher), it is definitely relevant to AIX 5.3 also.
