Hi there,

I have recently installed same to CX340 connecting to HP Servers. In Navishphere Manager go to the host connection and mannualy register the WWN Address for these HBA Cards and then it should work OK.

Yes, manually register works, but this is not how it is supposed to be.
There is something wrong if Agent and Server Utility can't see the storage !

The host agent needs to talk via Ethernet though doesn't it? We manually register most of our hosts as the subnets most of our SAN attached hosts are on don't have routing to the SAN's management port (for security reasons as the SAN sits on our internal network and many hosts are on unconnected client LANs). It would be nice if the host agent worked over fibre.

Yes, Navi Agent needs LAN connectivity to the storage. But we tried also with Navisphere Server Utility, which doesn't require LAN connectivity and registers host through the SAN.

Anyway we solved the issue, it was a matter of applying one windows patch as stated in interoperability navigator.

Whenever you go to the HBA vendors web site, make sure that you go to the EMC specific area to get the drivers and documentation
