Hyper-v windows 2003 guest with slow network
I'm running a Windows 2008 hyper-v server with a virtual windows 2003 x86 server, but I have some slow network problems.
When I copy a file of 30Gb from a Lun from Hyper-v Server 1 to a other Lun at Hyper-v Server 2, I reache a copy speed of about 80/120 mb/sec.
But when I copy the same file of 30Gb from a virtual 2003 server on Hyper-v server 1 to a Lun on Hyper-v server 2, I reache a speed of about 8mb/sec. This problem is the same if i copy the file to a Lun on the Hyper-v server 1 with the virtual windows 2003 server it self.
Can some one tell me what to do about this performance issue?

(m = mili, M = mega, b = bit, B = byte)
But now to the point:
I've seen your problem before on ESX VM's. It appeared to be a NIC driver problem in the VM itself. Are you using the correct drivers ?
(I think this is a question you should ask Microsoft)
