last version of software to use
what are the last versions of the software to install on windows 2000 sp4 server: iscsi initiator and power path?
I have an AX150i-SP; on the servers installed the last version of iSCSI initiator 2.06 and power path 4.5.0 : iSCSI initiator see the target, logons to it, but the bind of the volumes does not succeed - I do not remember the exact message but it said that was not an iscsi disk - also Navisphere does not show the discs (already created, initialized and with active connections).
the storage is connected to the servers via two redundant 10/100/1000 switches, and each server has 2 NIC connected to the two switches
the disc in windows disc manager show up as off line and I have to reactivate it manually.
I did set the MSiSCSI parameters in the registry for the dependency to the server service, the 60 seconds timeout, the tcp ip parameters for speeding up the nics...
passed hours to search powerlink, but now I ask to you experts, can you help me with your experience of winned battles?

I checked the website you suggested but looking at the matrix it seems I can install any of those available versions (for iSCSI)
thanks

Also, get the latest Host Connectivity Guide for Windows - it has an updated section for installing with iSCSI.
Home > Support > Technical Documentation and Advisories > Host Connectivity/HBAs > Installation/Configuration
