migating from HP MSA to EMC VNX
Hi,
I need to migrate data from hp MSA to New VNX box.
Could anyone suggest which ports i need to use from VNX to best suit for my zoning with MSA .
After zoning which are the things I need to confirm for a perfect connectivity.
As per my understanding ,I can do only a full copy here.Mine is VNX5300 .Please provide ur inputs to achieve this .
Thx

what MSA model do you have ? According to E-Lab only MSA-1000 and MSA-1500 are supported. If you have one of these models, yes it will be a SanCopy pull operation.

Hi Dynamox,
Its EVA4000 ,not MSA ,that was a mistake from my side .Anyway its a pull operation and please let me know whether I can use any port from VNX side for zoning with HP EVA as its a new box and no hosts attached as of now.
Thx

you can use any ports as long as they are not in use by MirrorView
