problem about hpux connnect to cx400

I have a hpux that already connected to hp va array and eva array.Switch is hp OEMed brocade,no zoning is configured.A new CX400 is connnected to switch, and hpux can discover all the luns, everything seems ok.

there is the problem:
We changed the share memory size for app, then reboot. hpux can not boot up after 2-3 hr, and stoped at "VxVM starting in boot mode...". when we disconnect the cx400,hpux boot normal.

No separate HBA used to connect different arrays,HBA is A6795A.
HEAT is been checked, no specail issue is founded.
"HBA Driver is B.11.11.09"

so if you change shared memory for the app back to what it was before ...can you boot with CX400 connected ?

hmm..sounds more like OS/App issue. Can you increase app memory in smaller increments?

Good idea, I will try to increase share memory in smaller.

This probably isn't related, but with no zoning implemented on your Brocade switch all hosts and storage are basically in one large default zone. You may want to implement zoning and create a separate zone for the host and the hp array storage ports and a separate zone for the host and clariion storage ports. It will make life easier down the line if you add more storage and may help you to avoid some issues in the future.
