problem on first power up cx4-120
Our cx4-120 came pre-cabled from the factory. It arrived in a full rack though, not a half rack. The power is cabled for four power supplied in the full size rack. We then connected the power to all four power supplies. After powering on, the amber lights are still flashing on the sps an hour later which I read is not normal. Any hints on what I should do?
Thanks!

By the way, which light is flashing on the SPS?
You should have four on the right side of the SPS. They are arranged as follows:
Active (green)
On battery (amber)
Replace batter (amber)
Fault (amber)

I checked and the cabling does look like the diagram. We have a single SPS.

Two questions:
Have you verified that the cabling (page 23) is correct according to the install guide?

Do you have single or dual SPS?
If the cabling is correct then it sounds like the SPS is not charging or the SPS communications cable is bad.

The Hardware and Operation Overview guide has a section on status lights:
https://powerlink.emc.com/nsepn/webapps/btg548664833igtcuup4826/km/live1/en_US/Offering_Technical/Technical_Documentation/cx4_120_hardware_overview.pdf?mtcs=ZXZlbnRUeXBlPUttQ2xpY2tDb250ZW50RXZlbnQsZG9jdW1lbnRJZD0wOTAxNDA2NjgwM2ZiNzUxLG5hdmVOb2RlPVNvZndhcmVEb3dubG9hZHMtMQ__
Go to the "Status lights (LEDs) and indicators" section for more details on what each status light means. This will help you interpret what you see on the front of the SP with the bezel removed.
From what you describe though it still sounds like either bad SPS or the SP is not getting the power properly. Time to call in support on this as it will most likely require some hardware replacement.
