Problem with EMC ... How can I get them?

Hi all,

Our CX500 is connected with Dell PowerEdge 2850 (W2k3 Server Enterprise SP2 RE2, PowerPath 5.1) through two Brocade Silkworm 200E. Server mount two HBA Qlogic 2340L SP.

Our CLARiiON CX500 was bought at 23/12/2005 and these software's CD were not included in documentation package. I have begin working on our CX from few weeks, and I've just upgrade the FLARE OS from 2.19 to 2.26 version, with EMC Navisphere Service Taskbar v6.26.51.1.32.

How can I obtain the full SANCopy,MirrorView,SnapView software?
Their download from Powerlink isn't available.

can you find a paper copy of the license that came with the array ? If you purchased all those items, then you should have a license pack them came in with the array or at later time if you purchased them separately. If you did purchase it but can't find licenses i would contact your local EMC representative.

Thanks for the reply,yes, we have a license pack, but [SNapView,SANCopy,MirrorView]'s paper copy licenses aren't present in the original package that my company bought in 2005.regards,Andrea

Contact your CE / reseller / EMC. They will help you getting the enablers.

So what exactly are you looking for ? The paper versions or the enablers ?The enablers should be on cd, with nothing more than a 150kB enabler on it Per enabler that is.

That makes sence...... I'd contact your reseller / CE / EMC about this. They can track it for you ! I had to use their service once when we lost switch licenses and it worked just great. If you have a purchase order number that would even be better yet.

Well, but we have only three *.upf upgrade packet in our EMC's CDs...

These software aren't pre-installed on the CX, so the full programs are missing, then *.ena files are not enough, if I'm right.

Andrea,All layered applications are all included in the R26 Flare bundle you have already installed. All you need to do to activate these products is use the Software Assistant to load the enabler CD for each product. You can use the enabler CD's originally provided with the system if they are available

I would contact your sales rep and have him sort this out for you. Go through official channels instead of emailing a depertment directly.
