recently i got a problem
when raid5 disk array allocate all disks to spA,if one disk fail,how can manage the same capacity

Hi Narayan
A raid5 raidgroup allocates a parity drive for itself. for eg if you create a r5 raidgroup of 5 drives you would get usable space of 4 drives i.e. N-1. so whenever theirs a single drive fault the hot spare kicks in to rebuild the data on to the spare drive. hope this answers ur query
