Remove LUN from SANCopy session in CX4-120

Hi,

I have a query as how to remove LUN (I know that there is some Private LUN also) from SANCopy session in CX4-120 from navisphere manager. currently we have 16 FC mapped in 16 SATA LUN for sancopy. we have 2 CX4-120. This 2 EMC already in a single domain. every cx4-120 have FC and SATA enclosure. SANCopy session is mapped by 16 FC LUN from 1st CX4-120 to 16 SATA LUN from 2nd CX4-120. Also 16 FC LUN from 2nd CX4-120 to 16 SATA LUN from 1st CX4-120.

Please advise.

Regards,

Masud

yes I am trying to delete the SANCopy relationship, cause I need some more space thats why I dont need the SANCopy now.

Another question is that in EMC in which feature does RPL/CPL required.

Does SANCopy required RPL/CPL?

For the SANCopy in EMC, snapview enabler is required right.

i don't manage SANCopy using Navisphere as i find it incredibly slow so here is the cli commands to list SANCopy sessions and how to remove them.

1)NaviSeccli.exe -user Admin -password password -scope 0 -address 10.1.8.30 sancopy -info -all

2) NaviSeccli.exe -user Admin -password password -scope 0 -address 10.1.8.30 sancopy -remove -name

SanCopy uses RLP

Thanks for your reply. Should we also remove those RLP which are using in SANCopy.

How many space are required for RLP in for using SANCopy?

Will you in short describe me how to setup SANCopy, what is required for SANCopy to perform correctly.

Masud
