Simple Unisphere install question.
Hi, I have a CX4960, a CX3, and an CX700 that I manage using Navisphere 6.29.0.6.1 on a Windows 2003r2 server. I would like to install the new Unisphere management software.
Can I use Unisphere to manage the older CX3 and CX700?
Also I’m confused on how to install the software on my existing Navisphere management server. What do I download and what do I install? Here are my download options:
EMC Unisphere Client (windows) 1.0.0.1.0492
EMC Unisphere Server (Windows) 1.0.0.1.0473
Unisphere Server Utility (Windows) 1.0.0.1.0474
Unisphere Storage System Initialization Utility (Windows) 1.0.0.1.0474
Unisphere Host Agent (Windows – all supported 32 & 64 bit versions) 1.0.0.1.0474
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

For CLARiiON, Unisphere can manage systems running FLARE releases as old as FLARE 19 with certain caveats (for example, new capabilities such as FAST will not be available for FLARE 19 systems).
For Unisphere off-array you need:
EMC Unisphere Client (windows) 1.0.0.1.0492
EMC Unisphere Server (Windows) 1.0.0.1.0473
CLI is still packaged with the Navisphere name, but there is a new release for FLARE 30 available if you want to run CLI.

you need a CX4 running flare 30 to do what BrianCOR wants to do.

You can use the Unisphere client (replacement name of Navisphere Off Array UI) on arrays below R30.

Depending on the type of management station you want to configure here are the software you will need:

Glen, I attempted to mark this as answered weeks ago but was unable to figure out how. Nowhere on the forum page is there a way to mark this thread as answered. I must be missing something. I did give points for helpful and correct answers.

(update) I found it at the top of the page. I swear it was not clickable before. I must be losing my mind.
