Unisphere RLP display issue?

Hi,

we are using two CX4-120's in a Mirrorview/A session to replicate a couple of LUN's.

We added a couple of 10GB's lun to the reserved lun pool which have been allocated for the Mirrorview/A sessions.

One thing I noticed is that the allocated LUNs/Session window in main Replicaton screen is empty:Capture_008.bmp

The Free LUNS tab is showing the last available luns and if we check the properties of the RLP we're seeing the allocated lun's.

Is this a bug or is there a reason why it doesn't show the allocated luns/sessions. Maybe only showing it when it really sending over the blocks to the remote side.

Regards,

John

Try restarting Management Server - SPA_IP_Address/setup - do this on both SPA and SPB.

What version of Unisphere are you running? Go to the ?  in the upper right corner and select "About EMC Unisphere" I;m using version 1.0.50.1.0248 and I see the Allocationed RLP

They are in the same domain and we connect to the primary array. It's not a big issue and customer didn't complain yet but looks like something is going wrong somewhere.

You have two arrays in the mirror - are both in the same Domain (they should be)? \

When you start Unisphere, make sure you point the address to the IP address of the array that owns the RLP, then see if you can see the RLP.

I would recommend you open a case with EMC - make sure you include the screen capture that you took as well as the spcollects. You might also want to include the contents of the directory c:\documents and setting\ \emc\Unisphere - zip the complete directory - this may help speed up the diagnoses.
