Compellent SCV2020 support DAS throught ISCSI

Sorry about my ignorance but I did not find any technical documentation about iSCSI (only SAS and FC). Does the Compellent SCV2020 support Direct Attach throught ISCSI?
My storage has two 10G ports per controller and the idea is to connect two servers directly without using a switch. It's possible? Thank you.

    Hello josecarlossml,

Yes you can direct connect your SCv2020 to a host.  Here is a link to the Administrator guide and if you look on page 75 it explains how to configure your system when direct connected.

Here is also a link to the deployment guide as well if you need it.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Direct ISCSI connections are not supported, there must be a switch.  If you want direct connect you would have to go with the SAS controllers.

I agree with justdave. For failover to work properly you need to connect an iSCSI server through a switch. Only SAS Hosts can connect directly to an SCv2020. See page 32 of the Deployment Guide:

An SCv2000/SCv2020 storage system with Fibre Channel or iSCSI front-end ports connects to host servers through Fibre Channel or Ethernet switches.
    • A storage system with Fibre Channel front-end ports connects to one or more FC switches, which connect to one or more host servers.
    • A storage system with iSCSI front-end ports connects to one or more Ethernet switches, which connect to one or more host servers.
