We need to upgrade out compellent storage system from 07.03.05.008.04to the latest (20.1.2.14.). We have been told there is an interim installationi and we need to know what that is and what the path to the upgrade would be.
You can upgrade your Datacollector and Dsitv(if youre running vSphere) and then check if you send a recent Support Assist report and if so you have to start Secure console and call Dell Support. If the pre-checks are successful they will release the new SCOS for your.
There is a block on all SCOS upgrades till customer calls in.
You need to call in to open a support case and we gather a support assist log from the system then review it to make sure there are no issues then we release the firmware with instructions on how to install the SCOS upgrade.
