Hi,

Which HBA cards are you using? What kind of storage are you attaching? What version of ESXi are you using? 

Is the connection made using FC switches? If yes, is FC zonning configured?

First there has to be proper connection and cabling done, second zoning has to be made properly, after that HBA's will be visible in Compellent and then you can add it as server, or Cluster (recommended for easier management later).
