Dell Compellent vSphere Plug-In - vSphere 5.0

Hi,

Any word on when the Dell Compellent vSphere Plug-In will be updated to support vSphere 5.0?

Cheers,

    Sorry,

My mistake.  The Dell Compellent vSphere Plug-In does work with vSphere 5.0.

The only issue is that VMware PowerCLI 5.0 does not contain the required assemblies for the plugin to run, you will receive an error along the lines of "Could not load file or assembly 'vimService20'" when the Plug-In starts.

Installing VMware PowerCLI 4.1 resolves the issue.

    Cheers,

    Patrick

No, it does not work with Vsphere5.

You will get it to load in the client sure, but go try to create a new volume on your cluster withi it.  Disapointed we don't have a working plugin yet :(

There is a new 1.5 Plugin that supports v4.1 and 5. You will need to be on SC 5.5.3 to use it. A call to Copilot can get you access to the files.
