The best way i've found to do this is setup SNMP alerts on the array. It does get annoying and there is no way to acknowledge an alert. The simplest way i've found to solve for this is to setup SNMP and point alerts to a central monitoring solution. This will allow you to still get the alert but then acknowledge the alert. I know - it's another level of complexity but you should have another solution setup for monitoring anyways, just point EM to that instead.
