Restore Replicated complellent volume for read/write

We have a rather large volume being replicated to our DR site that would like to restore one of the snapshots in our Compellent DR site, and make it read write. Is that possible, or will replicated volumes remain read only?

    Hi,

Which storage array are you using and what is the software version? Page 524 has some information on restoring https://dell.to/3gRDyI2

You can easily create a VIEW (as new Volume) of an existing replicate by taking a  snapshot or just a existing snap when you already have one around.
It will get a default name like "view of and than you map it to the server of your choice.

i want to create a volume/Restore off one of the replicated volumes snapshots. mount it to a server and have it act as read/write. Im being asked to confirm that this will work, so i may have to actually run through the steps to see if it works.
