SC4020 bottom controller wont fully boot after prejoin config
Hi,
I am trying to get a used controller in canister 1 to fully boot so I can add it to controller 1. I defaulted it, entered in the prejoin information and after –sm –go it looked like it fully loaded all subsystems and then restarted to load new config off disk, I think it said. After that it will not fully boot and is stuck at “SelectLeader”
Finished "InitializeIPC", Starting "SelectLeader"
Failed controllers, first selection, restart.
Failed controllers, first selection, restart.

Failed controllers, first selection, restart.
If I hit enter I get a login screen but I can’t login because it is not fully booted and it will not recognize the unlock file on the usb drive. With no login credentials, I cant do any further troubleshooting.
I can ping the eth0 address that I set at prejoin and if I browse to it I get “system is starting up”.
Any help is VERY appreciated with getting this unstuck and fully booted so I can join the controller!
With this issue, I would call into support so that we can look at the logs of your SCv4020 to see what is going on as to why the replacement controller is not coming online.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I have a similar problem. A disk in one of the controllers left the side of the SSD. The system does not boot. In the console Parallel Pass Complete at 10/12/2021 01:34:12 PM, Pass Durations: 19.033, Elapsed Since Boot: 02: 17.339 - Finished "InitializeIPC", Starting "SelectLeader" 0x0000AC5D: Failed controllers, first selection, restart. 0x0000AC5D: Failed controllers, first selection, restart. How to solve the problem?
I have already called the support phone many times, this does not lead to anything, without a guarantee they do not want to talk to me. Can I leave an electronic request for help somewhere?
