You can’t join both your SCv3000 together & present them to VMware as a single datastore.  The SCv3000 has2 controllers in them that hold the configuration for the volumes that are configured.

There is no option at this time to join 2 systems to be used as one. In the future there may be. At this time the only option would be to use Live Volume with Auto Failover to connect to the same servers from 2 system. Refer to Dell SC Series Storage: Synchronous Replication and Live Volume

For me it sounds as he ask for a system which supports a automatic transparend failover. Thats what 2 SCv together with licenses for RIRA + LiveVolume can archived.

For sure is that one SC holds the primary Volume and the other the secondary one. If you choose syncrone replication together with LV technicly the SC creates a proxy volume and present this LUN to the ESXi Cluster. The ESXi see one Volume/Datastore.

No this volumes isnt "span" over the two systems and this is what you have ask for instead 2 copies exists.

We used a couple of "stretched" ESXi Clusters with 2x SC in a live volume setup. We have survived a unplanned downtime of one of the SC. Notice: We dont use a single VMFS Datastore instead we have multible which means different SC Volumes which we spread over the 2 SC and enable LV on them.
