Scv3000 iSCSI connection issue

Hi. We have Dell Scv3000 iSCSI connection from 3 Dell Windows 2008 R2 servers.

We installed windows updates on Server1 and after restarting it iSCSI got stuck on reconnecting ... the other 2 servers are still successfully connected to Scv3000. Server1 has also another iSCSi connection to MD3000 Dell storage which is still connected successfully after windows update.

I read a few posts about a new Microsoft update that causing issues for iSCSI connections but it seems that it is not related to Windows Server 2008 R2. I tried to disconnect the misbehaving targets and connect them again, but I am getting "Conection Failed". I am getting the following events in Event Viewer:

EventID: 113

Source: MSiSCSI

iSCSI discovery via SendTargets failed with error code 0xefff0003 to target portal *192.168.130.7 0003260 Root\ISCSIPRT\0000_0 .

EventID:1

Source: iScsiPrt

Initiator failed to connect to the target. Target IP address and TCP Port number are given in dump data.

Event ID: 70

Source iScsiPrt

Error occurred when processing iSCSI logon request. The request was not retried. Error status is given in the dump data.

I appreciate any advice.

Best Regards,

Adel

I just wanted to update on my issue. The issue wasn't related to Windows updates, The storage itself was having issues with connections from the server, after restarting the 2 controllers one by one, the issue was solved! I already have a support request with Dell to see what they will find as the cause of the issue.
