We have a SCv3020 with two hosts connected via SAS both controllers cabled. Host one is up and fine, but host two for some reason is saying some paths to the server are down... but I can't seem to see where it's seeing this?
the SAS Fault domain 2 (the one this server is on) has both top and bottom controllers listed as status UP and connected - Yes both green.
Protocol endpoints are listed as Active/Optimized and standby...
But when you select the srever in storage center and look at hte Server HBAs group it says port type SAS connectivity Partial
we actually just configured it and began testing the failover capabilities... which worked correctly... the second time everything came back up as expected except for that message about partial connectivity but nothing indicated there was a link down and everything worked right.. all current best pratice guides were followed for the SCv3020 and ESX 6.7 on SAS today everything is working correctly, just an odd case for that one time
