Hi STK,
I'll answer the second question. Assuming it is ECC 6.1
1. You need FCC Agent (it can not be on the same host with NAS Agent because of port conflict)
2. Depends on what Switches you are trying to discover:
Cisco MDS - No additional Agents
Brocade - Brocade SMI Agent
McData - Brocade SMI Agen for EOS
The SMI Agents can be downloaded from here:
Home > Services & Support > Drivers & Downloads > SMI Agent
If you intend to install them on the same host - read the manuals in what order & how to change the ports.
For ECC 6.0 and ECC 5 you don't need SMI Agents.
Hope this helps!

SKT,
if you google document "Cisco MDS 9000 Familty Fabric CLI Configuration Guide Release 4.x", there is a section called "Buffer Credits". It goes over what buffer credits are and the different types of bb credits. Not sure i understand your question about default zone ?

So the math would be something like this:
1 frame's length is 2km on 2Gbps. On 4Gbps it's 1km.
So on a 30km link at 4Gbps there are 30 frames on the link, so the B2B's need to be set to 60, right ? (back and forth = 2 x 30km)
Will I now actually get the same performance (4Gbps) as I will get when accessing a Clariion locally at 4Gbps ? I'm seeing a lower speed while using long links. what can be my problem here ? Should I add an extra 10% buffers ? Or do I need extended buffers to get the long link speed to 400MB / s ?
