Connectrix Management Server hangs

Our connectrix management server keeps on hanging from past 2 days. We keep on rebooting it, but still we have same issue. could someone let me know what might have been causing the issue?/..

anything of interest in system/application logs on the server ?

how are you doing on disk space ? Is it running on 1U server or the laptop ?

It's running on a laptop.

I'm unable to see logs.It's getting hanged with in short period after i reboot it.

could be windows/hardware issue. I would get your local CE involved, to have them replace the laptop. He/she might need to boot into safe mode and try to get Connectrix manager backup files.

Thank you. CE was onsite yesterday and took all the backup of the files and logs. Hope hw will be resolving the issue. Thanks for all your input.

Will update you on the cause for the issue.

CE replaced it with a new Management server Laptop. Now everything looks good.

But i checked if we are able to recieve email event notifications from the CX management server. I tried to send a test email to our group - I was stuck with the message.

"You didnot provide user ID and Password for the email server. As a result, Connectrix Manager may not be able to send test E-mail. Do you want to proceed"

Then i clicked 'Yes' and i got the message. (Ususally we donot have an SMTP ID and Password for our email server)

I think i got the test email forcefully. Will I really get an alert notification in case of an event???
