edit local zone database is empty

On the Fabric Manager, when I click the VSAN folder and select Edit local zone database, there are no zonesets or configurations.

When I go to the CLI and do a "show zoneset" I see all the existing zones. What is the problem here?

Hi ericlam,

When you run # show zoneset //it displays all VSAN and it's zones.
try this on all VSAN
# show zoneset vsan xxx

FM, Did you try it on all VSANs?

Is your switch part of a larger fabric ? Perhaps the zoneset information isn't distributed to this particular one by the principal switch.....

Open the zone database and in the upper right you'll see the name of the switch you are on. Select this and choose other switches. What do you now see ?

We resolve the problem, by recreating the zones on the local zone database. Then I try to activate the local zone, and there's no changes.

So, there is a Active Zone and the Local Zone. For some reason, the Local Zone was wiped out and luckily the Active Zone is still running.
