New security Policy in 5.3.0a?
Hello,
When I start to make a login to a new Switch with FW 5.3.0a I have the possibility to change the password for root, factory and user. --> I think that's new....
Who is responsible for setting this passwords? customer? partner? EMC?
What happens with switches upgraded to FW 5.3.0x ? Which passwords are there afterwards? (are there new ones, or the old ones)
BR
Manfred

The new pw for "root" is new. I haven't seen that one in any earlier version.
User "root" has been set in the factory AFAIK.
