Question about tresholds for vsan in Cisco MDS
Hi
I just installed a CISCO MDS 9216i, I configured it in four VSAN, but I want to assign resourses for each Vsan, I mean , I want to configure tresholds for each vsan in order to assigne the best performance to the right one, I mean, for example I want to assign 60% of my resourses (Memory and CPU) to a UNIX Vsan and 20% to a Windows Vsan.
is it possible?
Regards

I'm not actually sure what the advantage of trying to assign resources to VSANs would be. There are means to specify bandwidth assigned to ports, create port channels, etc if you concerned about making some ports have higher bandwidth. VSANs are just a virtual grouping of ports with their own independent underlying FC services so VSAN performance shouldn't be an issue. Can you please explain in more details exactly what the overall goal you are trying to accomplish?
Thank you.
