Using MP-1620 with DS4100B
is this a bottleneck? we have two site and is doing mirrorview/s on two cx3-40f and on each end using the brocade ds4100b and connecting between the brocade switches are the mp-1620 multi-protocol router running iFCP.
the bottleneck that i think is the the mp-1620 supports only 1Gb/s and the DS4100B and CX3-40f is running 4Gb/s.
so why iFCP? isn't iFCP outdated and FCIP is better?

I work in an environment where we replicate about 20TB of data over FCIP, using Cisco MDS9216i (yes, that's with compression) over 1.2Gbps added up and it's sufficient !
It all depends on how many data is actually being replicated and the latency of the link between your 2 sites.
