I was just informed by Email that Dell is sorry about the delays and my only two options are to wait the extra three months or cancel my order. My first R12 order was canceled due to delays but I was told that the new R13 was going to be on time. But that was before the 3090 gpu part shortage. Then I was promised that if I downgraded to the 3080ti I'd get my order before Christmas. Now they want me to wait until March 12, a total of over five months of delays.
I canceled this order and started another R13 purchase since I was only getting the usual non answers that didn't help at all. I went back to the 3090 GPU. I figured if I had to wait months for a R13 I might as well get the one I really want.
Day two, new R13 ordered yesterday. In Confirmed status. I'm going to post a daily log on my R13 order status as long as they let me. It'll be interesting to see how many weeks this will go.
I can't say I'm ok with a delay. It's more that I'm expecting a delay. The three orders prior to this one were delayed for parts,why should this one be different?
Day 5, still in Confirmed status. From my first R12 order on Nov. 6 and the three R13 orders that followed, including this current R13 order, the current number of days in Confirmed status is ... 51 days waiting.
Well if it makes you feel any better mine was delayed as well on Day 16 and i had to downgrade both the ram and go down to 1650... and still its delayed but the part they are short on was Case and Chassis, not any of the silicon.

I`d take a previously owned or returned R13 case if it would get me a earlier shipping time as long as it was undamaged.
