Order on hold

Placed order one week ago. Received email from Dell acknowledging order.  Check order status online Dell says don't have an order.  After calling several different phone #'s finally got automated response saying order on hold.  Can't contact anyone at Dell to explain why order is on hold.  Paid thru paypal & funds @ cc account are pending.

PayPal is notorious for flagging orders where the buyer details don't match -- did you use exactly the address, phone number and email from both your paypal account and your credit card account?

I use paypal for most everything online. Never had a problem.  Just checked order status on Dell and discovered order was cancelled!  Re-ordered same items & cost $100 MORE!  Wait & see if this order makes it.  Not happy with Dell!

Discovered what the problem was.  Had second order cancelled also.  Finally able to talk to a person.  I had ordered MS 365 along with laptop purchase.  Third person I talked with told me subscriptions can't be purchased through paypal and that was what caused entire order to be cancelled.  I couldn't fine any mention of this on Dell's website.  Placed order, again, via phone using cc directly and order was placed.  Hassle and anger could have been avoided if Dell had provided pertinent information.
