As discussed, the refund for the return to computer was processed to your Dell preferred account. The amount refunded is $xxxxxxx.xx The refund will reflect on your Dell preferred account in the next two to three business days.
You can call the Dell financial services team at 800-283-2210 by Tuesday or Wednesday and request them to send you a check for the amount you paid.
Please contact us in case you need further assistance in this matter.

I do not know your Dell preferred account number as not everybody has access to it. It is the Dell financial services who deals with your account. Our sincere apologies for the delay and sending you the refund check. I am still working with the Dell financial services to have the check send out to you and will keep you updated.
So I come to the conclusion that Dell has decided that they are just going to keep my $1665.00 . I will keep looking too
I should bring theft charges against dell for taking my laptop and not returning it or refunding it…It’s my laptop and it’s paid for, you can’t take people property and not return it …Maybe I’ll check with the RCMP?
Who care what you think, I'll post all over the Internet as Dell still will not issue a refund and they have my laptop as well? maybe you think this is right but Dell keeps telling me they are monitoring the account? Since Dell ahs already refurbished my laptop the service tag doesn't exist anymore. Report Unresolved Customer Service Issues here. You have to work for Dell..Just wait until you have a service request....lol...You will see how good the service is
Dealing with Dell has been one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences I've had for a very long time. It appears that either Dell is completely incompetent or they're purposely holding back refunds. I don't believe they're incompetent.
