5.7.1 File system resets?

Is anyone else running 5.7.1 and experiencing file system resets?  I have had it happen now on 2 DDs, it seems to happen *about* once a week, haven't seen a pattern yet.

Given that this is fresh release with only 8.64% adoption rate within 5.7 branch (which has 6.78% adoption rate) it sounds like you have found a bug where best thing is to forward it to support.  I do not like .0 releases for anything (recommended 5.7 release is 5.7.0.10, but you can't go back now since you use latest revision 5.7.1.0 so your best bet is to log a call with support).

Support has my info.

I am very aware of this being a very new release, but we are stuck using it.

When you add multiple DDs to Avamar (7.2.1), and ONE of them is running 5.7.0.x (the others running 5.5.0.9) it will not be able to run GC unless they are ALL running 5.7+

Given that I have 1 Older DD890 that I don't want to upgrade to 5.7 because of the other issues that have been pointed out to me, I have to run 5.7.1 to get around this issue. (Issues with CIFS shares created when the system was running 5.1)

The newer DD (DD9500) has DS60 shelves (only supported by 5.7+) so I am kinda stuck.  The DD9500 already sat for 3 months until 5.7.1 came out.  I can now migrate off the 890, but I have to use the newest firmware.

I was mainly wondering for the 7% of users who are using 5.7.1 (maybe I'm all of them, not sure)  if anyone else has seen file system resets.

I am suspecting that it may still be somehow related to the Avamar having and older DDOS attached to it, because I cant imagine that EMC would have not seen the file system resets.
