cifs file in use

hi everyone,

dd990 with 5.7.0.3 ddos

we have a cifs share that is used by our dba's to backup mssql to. occasionaly they report that a backup fails and the file that was being written to cannot be deleted or renamed on the share. I have verified this.

I have tried disabling cifs and reenabling but that doesn't help. With "cifs show active" the file is not referenced. From the system performing the backup I don't see any connections to the file. Can anyone help?
