Data domain 87% full not sure dedupe works correctly

My data-domain is 87% full and I've been using it 1year and I'm not sure if it is de-dupe ratio is function works correctly

You want to move this discussion to the Data Domain Forum, so it will get more visibility.

Also, if you haven't done so, open an SR with EMC they can investigate and see if something is amiss.

Hello Tshepo

Have you checked the dedup statistics in the Data Domain Enterprise Manager (DDEM) web interface?

Have you checked the logs to find out about these statistics?

Please note that it also comes down to the type of data you are backing up and also to the configuration of the backup itself, for instance Oracle logs.
